Strategy and Corporate Development Office is responsible for developing strategic planning approach and development of programs and initiatives with relation to enhancing key operations of the institute as well as supporting the institute with developing its service design, drafting regulations and operation procedures, as well as implementation of quality and excellence systems.
Also supervises the mechanism of developing strategic and operational plans and deciding on priority activities, performance evaluation tools and standards, implementation of quality systems, corporate performance requirements, and government excellence of all services offered, as well as ensuring integration of all plans and programs in the best way that enhances the culture of services excellence.
Amongst key responsibilities, Strategy and Corporate Development Office looks after corporate relations and enhancing international collaboration with academic and educational institutions in different legal and judicial fields and supervises corporate communication and marketing.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Developing and publishing strategic plan in collaboration with organizational units within DJI and ensuring consistence with Government of Dubai Strategic Plan and sectorial strategies;
  • Supporting all organizational units to prepare and review operational plans in consistency with the institute’s strategy;
  • Developing and implementing risk management plan in coordination with all organizational units;
  • Ensuring sound implementation of performance management system in consistency with the policies and guidelines of the Government of Dubai;
  • Follow up and reporting of corporate performance and developing remedy procedures, when required, in collaboration with organizational units;
  • Spreading the culture of corporate excellence and quality, and developing remedy plans, when required, based upon corporate performance evaluation results, in consistency with the institutes strategy;
  • Maintaining transparent and open communication through all channels between the institute, beneficiaries, and customers of qualification and training, and knowledge management and publishing services;
  • Developing and implementing an integral internal and external communication strategy as per the guidelines of institutional communication of the Government of Dubai;
  • Developing and implementing an integral local, regional and international partnership strategy with educational and training institutions that supports DJI’s initiatives and programs;
  • Enhancing media communication and partnerships with government organizations that supports DJI’s programs and initiatives, in consistency with the institute’s strategy; and
  • Media relations and all activities of events and initiative’s organization.

  • Maintaining transparent and open communication through all channels between the institute, beneficiaries, and customers of qualification and training, and knowledge management and publishing services;
  • Developing and implementing an integral internal and external communication strategy as per the guidelines of institutional communication of the Government of Dubai;
  • Developing and implementing an integral local, regional and international partnership strategy with educational and training institutions that supports DJI’s initiatives and programs;
  • Enhancing media communication and partnerships with government organizations that supports DJI’s programs and initiatives, in consistency with the institute’s strategy;
  • Media relations and all activities of events and initiative’s organization;
  • Supervising implementation of the DJI corporate visual identity;
  • Management of DJI’s website and all digital platforms related to training management systems, knowledge management and publishing portals, in coordination with related departments; and
  • Management of social media accounts in coordination with related departments.

DJI BUSINESS CONTINUITY STRATEGY

In response to Covid-19 pandemic, DJI developed a repones strategy to maintain business continuity through active remote communication with all beneficiaries of the institute’s programs and initiatives to ensure accessibility of all qualification and training services, knowledge and publishing publications and releases in all pathways to legal and judicial knowledge. Accordingly, DJI has achieved an unsurpassed success of results that included by end of 2020 a total of 2665 trainees, with 69% increase compared to 2019 results.
