Corporate Support Department is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to all departments and organizational units, and it’s the official division for coordination and communication with government services vendors and also responsible for recruitment and human resources affairs.

The department is also responsible for providing all necessary services and resources required for operations at workplace and support to all organizational units at DJI according to Excellence Standards of the Government of Dubai, as well as supervision on developing plan and implementing activities and main projects launched by internal training and capacity development department, finance, human resources affairs, services and logistics, commitment to work policies and procedures, organizing financial resources efficiently, office supplies to all departments, designing and developing communication plans to ensure clearance of all policies, procedures and regulations related to employees affairs.

ADMIN & FINANCE

Responsible for managing and coordinating financial matters related to the institute operations, in consistence with approved regulations, and in coordination with internal departments and divisions, preparing budget estimates along with follow up of implementation, follow up reporting annual expenditures and preparing annual closing statements, raising recommendations for the institute’s financial revenue development, managing operations, and renting public services facilities .

HUMAN RESOURCES

Responsible for providing specialized human resources according to the institute’s requirements and in line with its administrative and organizational structure, and fulfilling the needs of Qualification and Training Dept. from supervisors, trainers, and professors, the needs of Knowledge Management and Publishing Dept. from researchers, editors and translators.

The Division is also responsible for preparing human resources plan, internal staff training plans and follow up of employee performance evaluation to support DJI’s strategic objectives. The Division is also responsible for human resources management and skill development, enhancing coordination capacities, enabling, attracting and qualifying specialized professionals who are able to deliver the technical mission of judicial and prosecution members training.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT)

  • Providing computer devices and software for all departments and organisational units of the institute.
  • Preparing studies, recommendations, specifications and contracts related to information technology, and technical systems and applications of the Institute;
  • Developing and managing the technical systems and applications of the Institute and ensuring their maintenance to improve workflow and accomplish tasks properly;
  • Providing technical support services to all organisational units;
  • Managing the technical systems network infrastructure of the Institute and ensuring its maintenance;
  • Developing the systems of smart and electronic services of the Institute and ensuring their maintenance;
  • Installing electronic systems that ensure the confidentiality and protection of information;
  • Determining and developing the programs and technical systems needed by all the Institute's departments and organisational unit,
  • Providing technical support to the federal authorities regarding federal applications and systems; and
  • Providing technical assistance and support to trainers and trainees during training programs and activities.

DJI is keen to always being a place for excellence, innovation and development, following it’s essential role in implementing the mission of “Government Excellence” which is focused on enabling all government institutions in the UAE to excel in its operations, service delivery and performance results, through implementing an internationally recognized government excellence model. Accordingly, DJI has launched a set of development initiatives, including internal revenue development program additional to its services offered to the legal, judicial and prosecution sectors, which includes offering its utilities for rent during non-occupied timings. This includes training rooms and the football court.
